DRAFT ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

October 2022

The Active Transportation Plan aims to provide safe, comfortable, and accessible ways for people of all ages and all abilities to walk, use mobility devices, and bicycle throughout Alameda. It includes long-range visions as well as an eight-year infrastructure and programs plan. The Plan was developed based on City goals, community engagement, a statistically significant survey of Alameda residents, and best practices. The public engagement period on this draft ran from October 3-23, 2022 (this was the third round of outreach done to develop the plan).
